Baby Massage
Give your baby the best start in life. Learn how to massage your baby - a special time to share.
Baby massage helps you to establish a warm, positive parent-child relationship. The nurturing touch helps the baby's emotional and physical development, it soothes and eases discomforts, colic, constipation and teething. It promotes relaxation and sleep and makes for a secure and confident child.
The International Association of Infant Massage (IAIM) is a global organisation and the world-class standard for the training and teaching of baby massage. The course used in these sessions has been designed exclusively for babies and children. It uses a combination of Indian massage (to relieve tension), Reflexology (for wellbeing), Swedish massage (to calm and relax), and finally Baby Yoga (safe exercise). The classes are fun, strokes easy to learn and they work! Due to Amanda's profession she offers tips which are relevant to the part of the body you are massaging for example, colic, reflux with the tummy, sleep with the back etc. Mats, oils and handouts provided for the course, a great way to meet other mums. Suitable for all babies from six weeks to crawling. Group sessions, Post-natal groups welcome. Private groups and 1:1 sessions in your own home are available. Prices vary.

Testimonials
Amanda has been teaching baby massage for many years in the Marlow area and has had some lovely comments from many of her mums.
Eira
mum from Henley
Baby massage has been such an enjoyable course. It was recommended to me by a friend and I thought I would give it a go as my baby boy is very tactile. What I hadn't anticipated and what was a bonus to an already great class, was the pearls of wisdom I would receive from Amanda. Amanda truly understands babies and their funny ways. She not only helped me with my baby's sleep during the night (or should I say lack of sleep) but also helped others with their baby's reflux with ways to improve it. Amanda is knowledgeable and it is clear that she loves what she does. Cannot recommend the classes and Amanda more highly.

Baby Yoga with Amanda has been such a joy for my son Oliver. Amanda accompanies the poses and movements with fun songs which have put big smiles on Oliver’s face, as well has helped him develop his rhythm skills. Baby yoga has not only helped my son’s motor skills but Amanda also incorporates gentle postnatal exercises that have strengthened my core and made me feel relaxed. I would definitely recommend Amanda and her courses.

Just finished my baby massage course with Amanda and it was such a lifeline during lock down! Amanda really cares about you and your baby’s and it is so much more than baby massage. You can see how much the baby’s love the massage and it has been a great way for us to establish a night time routine. Amanda shared advice from her huge wealth of experience for any challenges we were facing from sleeping patterns to feeding to how to play with your baby to help them to develop! Looking forward to baby yoga next!

I am doing the baby massage class over zoom during lockdown, and it is wonderful! My baby adores it and it's a lovely bonding time for us. It's also interesting to hear about all the amazing developmental benefits. Amanda is friendly and a great teacher, she gives us lots of helpful advice from her years of experience as a midwife on many baby topics. I would absolutely recommend this class.
